Yes folks, I've just opened the curtains and it's snowing and looks as if it has been most of the night. Just thought I would share this with you. H ave a nice day wherever you are.
I'm well, Lakitu and I don't much care for snow either-I well remember my commuting days when a powdering of snow meant traffic coming to a standstill....!!!
That's exactly why I hate the stuff, I'm over in Tullos now but when I was working in Dyce, coming from town in the snow was a joke. I'd be sitting in a jam from St. Machar roundabout all the way up and through Stoneywood (you can imagine the chaos at Haudagain!).
As an aside, my de-icer wasn't cutting through the ice, do you suppose the can sitting in a cupboard for 3 years has something to do with that? LOL
Yes, well I used to work at Stoneywood and remember once taking over an hour and a half to get there from here (and the roads were quite black) a journey that would normally take 15 mins-for us the airport roundabout was the worst followed by trying to get on to Stoneywood Road! You must have had a very severe frost hun for your scraper not to cope. At least it's actually a bit warmer today than it was yesterday.
Hi Christine. Actually it's very sunny here now - in fact it's dazzling with the snow outside. The pavement gritters have just come round but a bit late as we've about 2 inches now but they've none in Aberdeen which is only about 15 miles away!
