The prime of your life?
7 Answers
Some say 'life begins at 40' some herald their teens as 'the prime of their lives' What does it all mean for you?
As I'm approaching 40 before the end of the year I see my time-frame as this;
18-22; all the possibilites but no confidence to know what to do with it
23-29; goes either way - defiant indepence or marriage
30-35; working out a path in terms of career, establishing 'who you are'
36-39; foot off the gas, realising any great acheivement should be well under way by now!
40+ who knows???

My children are teenagers (Good kids) and so are quite independant, which gives me more free/quality/me time.
We are more financially stable as we have been married for quite a few years.
I am more confident - this comes with age I think.
I have more life experience and and so can deal with situations in a more measured and informed way.
I am in a stable relationship.
I am more aware of my personal attributes and have actually recognised that I get more male attention now than I did when I was younger.
I love being 41 and a half and although I don't really want to have wrinkles etc, I know that I have earned them!

I'm 30 in a couple of weeks.
Despite a couple of offers I've completely bypassed the marriage bit and remain very single. I'm thinking of changing my career and I'm living in accomodation where I work at the moment.
I think I may have bu88ered some of this 'growing up' lark quite majorly!
On the plus side... my sense of humour is cracking :c)
