My husband inherited a gold tie Pin and a waiter who saw it said it was of special significance in the Arab World. It has letters H.A. etched on the dagger.
Does anyone have any information

It looks similar to a Khanjar

I don't think the HA is significant, as the Arab nations write in Arabic.

The waiter said the H.A. was significant and that it stood for 'Habib Abib' or something similar to that. He said the phrase rather than spelling it
Habibi is Arabic for friend I think.
