They hate being ruled by English people in London who don't give a t0ss about them. Theyd rather be ruled by non-english people in Brussels who don't give a t0ss about them.
As opposed of course as opposed to the English who, out of an outdated sense of patriotism, would rather be a small and insignificant nation than one of the most important players in the biggest economic power on the planet. .
To listen to you Ludwig anyone would think there were no British people in the EU at all!
ludwig - IRELAND (excluding NI) left the UK, they are in the EU, they joined the Euro. Doesn't seem to have done THEM any harm, so Scotland could do the same. Independence is NOT about 'anti-English' feeling.
Would that be the England this is currently under the rule of Scotland Ludwig.
There is no such thing as independence with in the EU, It's like saying you have my own section of the Fore deck on the Titanic, you go where the ship goes mate.
One of the few good things about the EU is that it does make all these petty squables about some sort of percieved autonomy, less and less relevant as our subjugation advances.
Well we did vote for the sweaties in governement and they do still have a little say over things as long as it's alright with the EU. Indeed we did elect MEP's the other week infortunately they seem to have very little power and seem to be controlled by The commission so I think our main subjugators are the commission with a lot of collaboration from the governments of the EU especially our own who seem to let the rest get away with murder and let us get shafted daily at the same time as paying for the show. They have yet to give us a say on whether we'd like to be in this club. Of course we know why because they think they know best and are worried that a majority want out of the EU and into what we signed up for in 1973 and voted on in 1975, a "Common Market" featuring trading agreements and general cooperation. The EU was not what was authorised in 1975.
well why do you think we have not been allowed to have a referendum on any stage since 1975 then. All the intervening governements have not trusted the public to give the "right" answer.
Would the public vote to stay or leave right now jake?
I have adressed all your points before, you well know the arguments, pointless going over it again. Neither of us will change our minds because all the arguments from both sides are merely opinions and predictions not certainties.
