Fixing Bingo

Im sure anyone who is a member of a"Working Mens Club" has often voiced their opinion to partners or other club members when one of the "Comitee" wins at bingo,sometime more it seems,than the law of averages.
Is it possible to fix a game when every person queues to buy a ticket,and a electronic random number machine is used?

Mr/mrs malagabob33: I have always wondered about this,,including with the round numbers/balls being called out; how can the winning odds be manipulated. on the paper sheets, which were preprinted out and the pattern winner, zig zag, etc.

the chances are that Committee members don;t actually win more than other members, on a game-by-game basis, but by definition, they are at the club most frequently, so thje law of averages dictates that they will win more often simply because they play more often - and that is simply matehematical chance.

People do tend to notice and remember more if a Committee member wins, so it adds to the impression that they win more ofteh than they actually do.

If anyone has concerns, start keeping accurate records of games played and winners' stats, that should stop tongues wagging.
