Colin Tennant,the 3rd Baron Glenconner is the nephew of Stephen Tennant.
Colin Tennant's Father (the 2nd Baron Glenconner) was Stephen's elder brother.

David Tennant's real name is David John McDonald.
He chose his name after Neil Tennant of the Pet SHop Boys,when he found that there was already an actor called David McDonald at Equity.
However,if you like David so much I would hope that you know this?

Thanks .. just watched the programme about the 1920s and 1930s on BBC4 about Stephen Tennant and the Bright Young Things ... fascinating. I remember a documentary about Colin Tennant a few years ago, on his island Mustique where is was drooling over Margaret, what a funny man, he kept saying to his 'followers' "Do keep up" when he was walking in front.
