Best Man Speech

I'm best man at a wedding tomorrow (yes I know this is last minute). I had my speech all prepared, but have been emailed with an information sheet from the Toast Master. In it, I'm told not to toast the bride and groom, becasue it's seen as slightly disrespectful to the bride's father who has already done this. I'm now at a loss as to how to finish off my speech!

Tell an insightful story about how they met or something you know of the groom and bring it around to what a great guy he is and how perfect they are together. Everyone remembers that and nobody really cares who you toast.

According to this site the father of the bride toast the bride as does the groom and the bestman toasts the happy couple. Not much of a toast master if he's left it this late in the day to tell you in anycase.
I'd ignore him and go with the toast you've written.
