You have permission to shoot to kill, no court in the land would convict you. Though in my defence I do not plan on listening to any of the songs until December and I have time to kill tonight.

well s long as they are phone related

may I suggest
the Holly and the Iphone
When I was running a railway station, one of our cleaning staff would frequently change the ringtones on her phone. However, for 12 months of the year, she would only ever have Christmas tunes to alert her to incoming calls. So we got used to hearing 'Jingle Bells' in June! ;-)
You will be forgiven by me if you include a certain christmas song by a certain Australian comedian ;-)
Hiya Chris, how are you on this cold November night?
I assume that the West Indian carol "The Virgin Mary Had A Baby Boy" will be renamed as "The Virgin Mobile Had a Baby Boy".

Plus, of course, you'll be listening to "We Three Networks of Orient Are" ;-)
o2 come ye all faithful
Good evening, MicMak. In answer to your question: I'm
1. not too cold. (See the 'central heating' - or lack of it - thread elsewhere) ;
2. slightly nissed (well, as nissed as a pewt, actually!) ;
3. staying out of threads about unemployment ;-) and
4. sending you my best wishes
Glad to hear you are okay Chris. If I stay up much longer I will be nissed as well. As I do not need an early start tomorrow I think I will stay a little longer. Not much mind.

Nice to hear from you, Micmak.

I'm planning on cuddling up next to the cat very shortly, to watch an old video of 'Para Handy', so (although I might manage a few last minute posts on any thread I'm replying to) I'll wish you goodnight.

BTW: That cat has bullied me into handing over nearly two full cans of cat food today. It's the same cat who got me out of bed in the early hours of the morning, with a demand that I feed him. It's the same cat that woke me up later on, while fighting (in my bedroom!) with the cat from across the road. It's the same cat which has cleared nearly every ornament from my dresser and shelves. It's the same cat that made my living room look like a pillow fight had taken place, after he plucked and ate the bird which he caught earlier this week. Perhaps I should try to convince him that he's meant to live two doors further down the road!!!

Tim Minchin is brilliant!
Weird, yes. Very weird, yes. But still brilliant ;-)

Answerprancer, are you referring to the song about the big red guy and a certain two wheeled self propelled transportation device. I may do, but my six year old might put paid to the notion.
Beatles are finally on itunes

http://www.guardian.c...-albums-launch-itunes
That's the one :-)
....ps. that's for personal private listening when you've had enough of it all.
Also recommended for post yuletide trauma away from the little ones: "Bad Santa" (I watched it last night to get ready for the christmas spirit).
Chris - my Mum has a plaque on her kitchen wall that reads something like "the more people I meet the more I love my cat" - sometimes I concur.
Question Author
But doesn't Bad Santa have a happy ending? Funny enough though. I ended up putting on about 60 songs and what I notice is that very very few of them are hymns or carols. To be honest I can't wait til 1st December to get listening to them.
