What has approximately half the population done?

I'm designing a game for teaching English. Basically the student has a list of things, and they have to claim to have done everything, and then be interrrogated by a second student who has to decide whether or not the first student is telling the truth.

The point is, if the things on the list are things like "Met Madonna... climbed Mnt Everest, have a pet tarantula" etc, the second student will always decide they are lying. So I want a list of things that are interesting for discussion, unusual, but quite believable, stuff that roughly half the population has done. Any suggestions most welcome. Thanks!

I use this as an ice breaker when teaching (adult education)
If you offer the students suggestions on what to use, I suspect you will find they will all be using the same examples.
Keep it to 3 statements per student and let them think of their own "claims", although you can start the ball rolling by giving them 3 "claims" of your own

ok, I'll steer clear from the obvious "slept with Jordan" claim.... how about; met/ been asked out by a famous sportsperson, been sacked from a job, won over £100 on the lottery, been bitten by an animal, appeared as an extra in a soap, represented their county in sport, worked with someone who went on to be famous (some dependant on age obv, don't know how old we're talking!)
