What should I do?

It'll be a Thursday in September, probably a week or two after we go back to college.

I'm not if I should do something with family and friends together or have two events, maybe something more formal at the weeekend when more of my family can come and something more teenagerish with my friends, although I'm not the type to go clubbing and most of my friends aren't and won't be 18 anyway.

A treasure hunt. a massive one.
my parents took me out for a meal and i had a party as well, got a lcoal band to play then ended up dancing on weston super mud beach till the next day, great night
i found someone else i knew at 6th form with roughly same birthday as me and we both shared the expense of hiring a hall, bar and disco for the night

Good question fluff . . . . probably parents.

I've been bowling so many times, and there's no paintballing or lazer quest nearby (I don't think).

Eewww doc.

but its an idea, Molly.
as your parents are paying for any celebrations. why not discuss it with them.

It's up to me. But I remember going to one of my cousins 18th birthdays that was at his (and his parents) house, a bbq with friends and family.
