Only drinking at weekends

Me too.

Obviously, if there is any left, I will finish it off during the week, but that doesn't really count.

Also, if you go out, you have to drink, just to be sociable.

allowing myself one bottle of wine a week, half on friday and half on saturday usually, sometimes whole bottle on saturday. am trying to lose weight and also look after my liver. not much fun though.

I only buy wine at the weekend.........lots of it.

I haven't had an alcoholic drink since 2000.

Instead of cutting out drinking during the week, I just cut down on what I had and changed the drink I had!
When I was rather unhappy and with my ex, I would put away 8 pints of cider and black a night, every night (during the week) more at weekends!
Now, I have been good, and changed to drinking shandies, and will only have 4 weak ones a night at max during the week.

Ok, so it is still drinking every night, but it is considerably better for me then my old habits!

If I manage 3 alcohol-free days a week then I'm quite happy. 4 would be better. Any more than that would be nigh on impossible.
