But the BBC is not paid to supply promotional footage for all and sundry, and I would object just as strongly if the film were to promote atheism, Conservatism, the Labour Party, astrology, flat-earthism, Sarah Palin, homeopathy or any other creed, belief, person or organisation.
If you are a licence-payer and are happy for your material to be so used, that's fine. I'm not. I'm not sure that Ofcom would be either.

Just one more unadulterated example of intellectual rape. Par for the course, religion hanging on like a bloodsucking leach, claiming credit due to their god while condemning the best within us, wallowing in the glory of the ugliness of ignoring that the inherent beauty of what we perceive can only be grasped explicitly by virtue of the rational mind they've abandoned in exchange for a favoured delusion.
