Why did he make the Devil ?
That seems like a bit of an own goal.
Like going on holiday, and making friends with the sort of people you'd try to avoid at home.

Gluttony?

Wearing "double denim" or socks with sandals?

God did not make the Devil bad to begin with. At first Satan was the Archangel Lucifer and he fell from grace when God and he come to blows. Lucifer wanted to be another God but God told him he had to serve him or leave. He fell from grace to become the Devil we all know and hate today.
