variations on this form the pagan 'code' not as anarchic as it may suggest as every action requires consideration to avoid causing hurt and this can be surprisingly difficult

is it perhaps a good alternative to the options offered by others in this section...if you want a rule to live by?

Being a happy heathen it's certainly a creed I live by, albeit Crowley isn't necesarily the most palatable ambassador for Paganism for some people;-)
Isn't that just another version of The Golden Rule? Do unto others as you would be done by.
As a philosophy to live by, it's as good as any and better than most.

Nothing can beat that.
The only problem with pagans looking for the person who had the first idea of this Rowan witc is that it leads back to St Augustine- so I'll stick with Crowley;-)

few do it especially in the winter... more often to do with the fevered minds of those hoping for a bit of esoteric hows your father....

I can pretty much abide by that law with some reservation. Some think they know better than others what's best for them and are prepared to use force to impose their beliefs. Some others could care less who they hurt. In light of this, we need mutually agreed methods by which to uphold the law and to defend the rights and liberty of law abider's from persecution by those who aren't. The only way to prevent the persecution of those who recognise and abide by the virtue of non-violence is through rational prosecution of those who neither are or do. That's where the fun starts . . .
