Just one seems to be appropriate these days, thou shall not...
thou shalt not call me Sarah, for it is not my name.

it would be quite nice if it were punishable by a direct lightning strike.
thou shalt respect the earth and everything on it

thou shalt treat people with kindness and respect

Thou shalt live with thought to the environment and the needs of the natural world

Thou shalt not watch any film tv programme or internet video that relies for its success on the lessening or humiliation of others

Thou shalt not rely on the teachings of religion to govern your life but instead will consider thy actions within an ethical context..
gonna no dae that !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!x10
How about

Thou shalt not live beyond thy means
Thou shalt respect and obey thy Creators; hence Mother and Father.

Thou shalt be true to Answerbank and never stray to any other religion or cult.
Thou shalt not laugh at Groupies jokes.
Seems to be the most popular
Treat others as you would want them to treat you.

This is a common commandment in several religions, and a pretty good catch-all.
Of course, worship Ab Editor and obey his commandments is another...

Thou shalt not cold call people when they are in the middle of cooking and leave a silent call - GRR!
When will we get some "Though shalts" here...
Like; Though shalt be be reasonable to others

'Though the Spellchecker doesn't like "Shalt" or, for that matter, "Spellchecker"
WyeDyed, you'll have to be a bit more specific. One person's 'reasonable' is another's 'unreasonable'.
What a wonderful world it would be if only it could ever happen:

Thou shalt treat others as you would like to be treated yourself.

That would end all wars and all religions.
Thou shalt knot. Knitting and crochet also accepted.
No doubt macramist fundamentalism would rear its ugly head.
thou shalt not phone me at the dead of night
thou shalt not take my ID, robbing me of the few pennies i have
thou shalt not make noise at all hours,
thou shalt not be profane, not in front of the children anyway
thou shalt not treat me with disregard, disrespect
thou shalt not play Christmas music before 20th December
thou shalt not be unkind or cruel to animals, or your fellow man
thou shalt not be a litter lout, or let your dog poop without a shovel to clear it up
thou shalt not put feet on chairs, or be anti social
thou shalt not disregard your family, but listen to older, somewhat wiser heads
I am reminded of the yarn of Moses going up the Mountain to see God aka Yahweh aka Allah.

The folk at the bottom waited for hours for him to come down.

Eventually he emerged from the clouds over the mid mountain and he made it back to the camp.

They were all over him, wanting to hear what God aka Yahweh aka Allah had pronounced.

Out of breath, he said, "I come with good news and bad news."

"What's the good news, Moses?"

"He upstairs has reduced the number of Commandments to ten."

"And the bad news?"

"Adultery is still there!"

(try telling a Muslim this one.....)
