This is an example of why religion should be confined to the home and prevented from intruding into the wider, secular world, especially education.

I mean, were this racial discrimination, such actions would be internationally condemned. This kind of ridiculous segregation is medieval!

My exwife is Jewish and she HATES the ultra orthodxy. If you want to see a good film about this matter then watch 'Kiddush'
It doesn't take long for the most devout amongst us to resort to death threats. Why is that, hasn't god demonstrated adequately enough that he is well capable of doing his own killing. (if you believe the bible, that is)
Look at the similarities with the Muslims

Look at the similarities with some of the "right wing" Christian sects.....even in my time, Methodists (Primitive Weslayans) would separate, men downstairs, women upstairs......
It isn't condemned because it's religion, and as we know, religion must be respected regardless of what it does. Yes, it is regressive - sickeningly regressive. Mea Shearim is an area of Jerusalem where it is not unknown for foreign visitors - even married couples - to be abused, and to have stones thrown at them if they walk along the street holding hands. The irony is that these people and fundamentalist Muslims are so very similar in their beliefs - and they're all just as mad as each other.
Strangely enough you can hardly get a genetic or cultural fag paper between fundamentalist jews and fundamentalist muslims yet they would cheerfully annihilate one another. What a model for progress and an example to all us atheists.
Exactly Jom. Religion - the perfect role model.
Religion is a blight on humanity. These idiots are exemplars.

Hopefully their actions will turn more people away from religion completely. Too bad they breed like rabbits.

Didn't the empowerment of *** people in the US start out with a stand on a bus too? Half a century later and the President is a black man (well half anyway). We can hope.
n e g r o is a banned word???? !!!!

Sorry to offend @@

It is actually the Spanish adjective for black. We had better ban "black" too,
No doubt I was supposed to say "of African ancestry".
And re-name the Niger river.
And of course that n i g g l i n g pain.
We had a controversy in Australia a few years ago.

A grandstand at a footy (rugby) field was long ago named the "N i g g e r B r o w n Stand" after a 1920s player who had the unfortunate nickname . They ended up demolishing it because it was too hard to deal with.

Apparently Coon Cheese is the next one because coon is a derrogatory name for an aboriginal australian. It was named for Edward Coon who invented the receipe.
