Real Gods?

Does it make more sense that people used to worship the sun and other Gods that were part of their environment as opposed to an elderly gentleman sitting on a throne up in the clouds? I know which one makes more sense to me.

It may be good but it really, really isn't , it so is not.

It's like living an alternative life, away from reality and believing that without any effort and just having this faith everything is going to be OK. Wake up people!
You've been believing this for thousands of years. Nothing changes through faith, it just makes you feel better for a little while. I have never known such a hypocritical organisation as the church. Holier than thou in the church but wouldn't give up their seat on a bus outside!

Psalms 14:1 may well speak against those who deny the validity of the Bible but that doesn't prove anything.

It doesn't stop at senselessness. The Bible and Quran both go on and on about what misfortunes will befall those who fail to worship their vindictive deity.

Until recently (and still to this day for many who follow the Quran) the church would ensure those threats were carried out.
