Do You Think There Will Ever Be An End To The Need For Charity Organisations?
21 Answers
As a volunteer for a worldwide charity I spend a lot of time with those who are in need. For all the work we do we never seem to see the end of it. Whether it is hunger, drought, disease or simply teaching them to read and write it is never ending.

My wife works for a Carers Centre (which is a charity) and they are constantly being rung up by people wanting help and advice about being a carer. Advice on support, on benefits, on medical matters, on legal matters, on education and job matters, and so on.
This type of support will always be needed, for the millions of people who need advice, such as that given by the Citizens Advice Bureaux, the Samartians and many many other organizations.

No, there will never be an end, because of the nature of man as a species. I think this every time I see the advert for cruelty to children. As long as there are human beings there will be cruelty of one kind or another and it will never end whatever we do. We may be able to alleviate it by the administration of punishment to the perpetrators, and that is about all.
It never will end for few very basic reasons. First of all, Charity organisations need money for their own good as lots of people’s wages depend on that. Then if you will help someone more than getting him/her on their feet then they will become reliant on your help all the time. That is the reason for a very well known phrase, charity starts at home. Because before you to give someone you need to know if that person really needs it because he/she is in that condition or is he/she just lazy? Just like benefits wrong distribution of charity does more harm than good.
So help should be to get people on the track and nothing more.

There will always be someone somewhere who has less than others, and will benefit from charity.
As long as they continue, there will be well meaning people who respond to these needs.
Having said that, there are people and governments who receive charity who have an interest in continuing to be in need to keep the money flowing - some rich African states seem to be doing this.

Too true venator and that is why I give my charity to local organisations, where I can see what they are doing. Mind you, it isn't very much, but I give as much as possible, and if you are up there lady luck and will allow me to win a nice big prize in the lottery I promise I will give more. (Don't worry everyone, this will not happen I am not making a deal with the devil!)

It is true that charity begins at home. Giving to charity is generally considered to be a virtue by some.
What happens to all the money that charities collect each year? Quite a bit of it goes to the people who run them. According to a survey, in more than one third of the 100 largest charities in the United States, chief executives raked in over $200,000 each in salaries and benefits last year.
Even if clothing is donated, only a tiny amount of donated clothing actually reaches those in real need. Governmental officials have been known to take their pick before it is sent out to those who really need it.
Before you ask, I am not paid a penny for my work. I am one of many volunteers who give of my time and experience. I have to fund my own travel and day to day expenses.

In today’s world, it may seem that few people are willing to give of themselves. Some, however, still wish “to make a difference”—to do good to others in some way.
Some of the good works accomplished by charitable workers include paying for the medical bills of low-income families, mentoring children of single parents, funding immunization programs in developing countries, giving children their first book, supplying breeding animals to farmers in poor countries, and delivering relief supplies to victims of natural disasters.
Sadly, though, there are also people who commit unspeakably evil acts.
During the 20th century, millions were murdered in Cambodia for political reasons. Ethnic hatred in Rwanda led to the deaths men, women, and children. Religiously and politically motivated murders in Bosnia resulted in deaths of innocent people.
In Iraq, we saw civilians massacred in cold blood, while relief workers, journalists and other non-combatants are taken hostage and put to death in the most barbarous fashion. At the same time, we have seen Iraqi prisoners disgracefully abused. In Darfur, we see whole populations displaced, and their homes destroyed, while rape is used as a deliberate strategy. In northern Uganda, we see children mutilated and forced to take part in acts of unspeakable cruelty.
Even in so-called developed lands, hate crimes seem to be on the rise.
So why do humans who have the capacity for doing so much good commit such wicked acts?

I think because some humans are completely lacking in empathy, lacking Identification with, and understanding of, another's situation, feelings and motives.
Whether this stems from nature or nurture or both, I wish we knew.
They were considered at one time to be carrying out "The work of the Devil".

Is nice to know that there are still many that in people in this wicked system there are so many people for my cruelty and famines and wars in this world but also there are many criticisms about those who volunteer their services to help but also charity begins at home as well for your loved ones. The answer your question. And from religious point of view there will be a time when all charity organisers in school not be necessary and from the King James version Isaiah 65.21.25.. Is 35.1.5 this will give man do hope of life if you are a follower of Christ.
