We do not want to act “dumb,” do we? That is to say, stupid, senseless, unreasonable, which also means, unscientific? There is nothing else for reasoning, intelligent humans to accept but that the great Runner of this amazing “establishment” of beauty, design and power is an intelligent Person, even though invisible to our frail natural eyes.

goodlife - many acknowledging theologians have the understanding that the message in Genesis does not concern an account of creation, but generally the relationship between God and His creation. It is not about ancient cosmology, because if it were then as with concordism, you would need to bastardise the sacred text and thwart its original meaning from 3000 years ago to accord with modern cosmological understanding.

True, he may not have done what men expected him to do. But this does not mean he has done nothing. Actually, he has been active on behalf of mankind from the beginning of human history right down to the present day.
For one reason people feel that God is dead, is man’s short life-span. This makes man impatient to get things done in the brief time that life allows him. Mistakenly, he tends to judge God on the basis of such human experience, with all its limitations.
