Naomi; I don't know if you're aware of this but JWs need to preach to 40 people in the week. Goodlife can do that by sitting on his backside and preaching to AB instead of going out knocking on doors. It's the reason he doesn't really reply, he just adds a bit to keep the thread longer.... Sad I know but that's how it is.
One day Goodlife (I hope) will realise that the Watchtower is brainwashing him.

Just had the JWs round at my house. They were advertising a big public gathering over this weekend in Letchworth.

Don't think they were all that eager to discuss what I wanted to discuss - they kind of mumbled a bit, fake smiles, then wandered off....

We had couple of 'Femmes JW' call just as we were off to Intermarché to do the weekly shop. Mrs. jom was going to tell them that nobody lived next door and that next, next door was out but I suggested that they didn't need help from non believers so we left them knocking futilely. I assumed that if god had wanted them to know he would have made sure that that information was included in the bible (somewhere).

That's a good one! Never heard that before! For your information, I regularlyhave a share on the door to door work - daily in fact.
Funny how people get these strange ideas about JWs when they know nothing whatsoever about us.

Goodlife, perhaps they know nothing about you because you never hold an intelligent or direct conversation here. I've asked you many times to talk about your religion - but you don't. Your posts are limited to incessant preaching and to copying and pasting passages from the bible and the Watchtower - and none of it educates - or impresses. Fact is that Jesus isn't coming back. Your god is not going to fix everything and it is up to mankind to continue to deal with the planet's problems just as we always have.

Courageous people like Malala Yousafzai speaking real truth are driving change while the drivel you and your kind spout is becoming increasingly recognised for what it is, an echo from an ignorant past.
