Do You Look Beyond The Things You See?
77 Answers
Like it or not, we daily see things we would prefer not to see, and when we look at the daily newspaper or the television screen, accounts of injustice, cruelty, and tragedy leap out to tug at our heartstrings.

They should look beyond their present circumstances, keeping their eyes fixed on the happy outcome of the Christian course.
Do you know you lot fulfil the Bible which says what you say.
As they listened to Paul’s persuasive testimony, the two rulers could not remain detached. Note what took place: Now as [Paul] was saying these things in his defense, Festus said in a loud voice: ‘You are going mad, Paul! Great learning is driving you into madness!’” (Acts 26:24) an attitude seen even today. To many people, those who teach what the Bible really says are fanatics.

@Goodlife - Ahh, more pearls of wisdom. You must get so frustrated, being so unappreciated by the godless and the sceptical all the time..
And what do you offer us today?
Well, still no answer to an outstanding and quite seriously intended question about why JWs do little to help the lot of their fellow man by engaging in charitable works, unlike all the major religions, and despite taking every tax advantage by claiming charitable status. More than a little hypocritical, wouldn't you say?
Another attempt to castigate both the godless and wrong god worshippers, I see. The last sentence you offer us is very true though- possibly the truest thing you have ever said;
"To many people, those who teach what the Bible really says are fanatics"
Spot on, with one minor correction - It should read "those who teach what they interpret the bible as saying" = and only the arrogant would assume theirs is the only correct intepretation.
The first paragraph just serves to show the degree of brainwashing that true believers have undergone- a paragraph in praise of single minded obedience!
Utter bilge - unconvincing, and unlikely to persuade anyone with any sense of an independent mind...

Goodlife, VE's revelation left me sick to my stomach – truly it did. It’s time your incessant preaching was brought to a halt here. You have no interest in discussion or in seeking answers to the bile you post under the guise of questions. Your sole purpose in being here is to promulgate the evil philosophy you have voluntarily allowed to possess your whole, sorry, being. You are abusing this facility – and you are abusing the good people who take pleasure in using it.
When you look back over the unhappy experiences of you, and the Israelites in the wilderness, we find that the troubles were due to complainers and faultfinders. But what happiness could have been theirs if they had just followed the arrangements of God! Faith was all they needed, it was so simple matter. And the same is true today.
"When you look back over the unhappy experiences of you". My unhappy experiences have had nothing to do with "complainers and fault finders", and believing in a God would not have stopped them from happening.
I agree with just about everything everybody else has said on this on this site - you have no thoughts of your own and just seem to cut and paste things you've read, and you seem to read those things completely uncritically. Do you not think for yourself about anything?

//My above question was to see if i could get a human response//
Could you possibly right, And, if not, is it correct to agree with them? One man said the more than twenty factions in his group divides them into a laughing stock before the world and probably a condemned people before God. Others view it differently, saying the different please different people thinking it is man who is to be pleased, rather than God.
