Out of interest, how do ghosts finish their unfinished business? They seem to spend their time walking through walls, making strange noises and scaring Yvette Fielding. Very useful!

People have to realise who the ghost represents, what his or her unfinished business was, and then clear it up on the ghost's behalf. Simples.

From what I've seen, basically Buffy the Vampire Slayer works it out then sorts it out for them and then they find a door with a bright light and go through it.
