While most people want to hear the truth in such matters, it is a sad fact that when it comes to even more important matters dealing with life and death, with one’s relationship to God, and with one’s obligations to his fellowman, many do not want to hear the truth.(John 17:3)

2,000,000 civilians are dying in these [wars] every year.

Several sources state that if we include wars between nations, civil conflicts, and deaths inflicted by governments on their own citizens, those killed in this century would total about 200 million. One source even puts the figure at 360 million.
Worldwide there are about 400,000 traffic deaths annually—about 1,100 daily
So who killed these? If you read the Bible properly, they had a choice, same as you.
The Bible wasn’t written for nothing.
God killed the whole world on his own. Nothing to do with man , your loving God drowned the lot. Do you justify that ? Oh sorry I've asked you that before.
^^ He did indeed - and because he, the perfect, infallible God, wasn't infallible after all. He made a mistake.
^^ The odd thing is, it didn't solve the problem. Another mistake?

No idea where you got that figure from, or how accurate it is. It is still dwarfed by those who die from all causes, mostly natural, each year. Out of a population of 6.5 billion or so, it is estimated that 155,000 die every day - A grand total of 56 million or so a year. How does that fit with Gods design then?

"Worldwide there are about 400,000 traffic deaths annually—about 1,100 daily
So who killed these?"

So? Does your bible, your god proclaim that we should not travel, should not commute? If you believe in God as a first cause, then God must have given us the intelligence to design mass transit systems. Gods fault.

Get your head around this. - There is no Truth, with a capital T. There is simply no compelling evidence to reasonably conclude that such a being as God exists at all. So why should I care what a bunch of fanatical humans SAY is gods word?

Your screeds do nothing to support the notion of a god, or any good reason to read the bible.
I'm ready to hear the truth. Provided it is accompanied by cast-iron, one-hundred percent convincing proof, based on testable evidence and backed up by thinkers whom I respect.
And don't say "Just trust the Bible, all the proof you need is in there" - you can find biblical quotes to support any statement you care to make, but a few chapters further on you will find a total contradiction of what you have just stated. Throughout the Bible, the same happens time and again. It constantly contradicts itself. So give me this testable evidence, and I'll listen.

The declaring of God Kingdom worldwide is resulting in a clear separation of people.

So good that in illustrative language Jesus foretold for our day: All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate people one from another, just as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.

Those who cooperate with the Creator’s purposes are identified as being like sheep. Those who remain independent are said to be like goats. As for their destinies, Jesus said that the “sheep” will reap “everlasting life,” but the “goats,” “everlasting cutting-off.”—Matthew 25:32-46.

So simple that child could understand, there is only one who proclaim God kingdom , so the future has already been determined by the Creator.

Yes the Scriptures show that God extends to such people the privilege and responsibility of free choice, of exercising free moral agency thereby making them accountable for their acts. (Jos 24:15)

Thank you. After all it is what the bible says. Perhaps if you read the Bible more you may come to appreciate it as do millions of others.
I have no desire to read the Bible, goodlife, nor to be able to quote it by rote as you do. My religious beliefs (or not) are my business, proselytising isn't going to make an difference to me.
Question Author
True, pressuring people to change their religion is wrong.

Jehovah’s Witnesses do not act in such a way. Hence, they do not proselytize in the modern meaning of the word. Rather, like the first-century Christians, they preach the good news to everyone.

Any who respond do so voluntarily.

Such interested ones learn to put faith, solidly based on accurate Bible knowledge, in God and his purposes.

As a result, they call on God’s name, Jehovah, for salvation. (Romans 10:13)
Whether they will accept the good news or not is a matter of personal choice.

There is no compulsion. If there were, conversion would be meaningless.
People must worship God from the heart.—Deuteronomy 6:4, 5; 10:12. So simple for some.
Generally, I would be more than happy to be viewed as a "goat" rather than a "sheep". Far more interesting animals.

///they preach the good news to everyone.///

No you don't, you're just a very small step away from being a Spammer!

Goodlife.
Just in case you have forgotten, Why did God kill millions ?
What sin did the babies commit ? Is it a sin to suckle on the sabbath ? Or were they being bisobedient to God ?
As you said that is punishable by death .

Here is a simple question because it is well documented . Were the Inquisitors doing the work of God when they tortured thousands to death ?

modeller@ One can be of greatest benefit that comes from reading, of course, is to enable you to find the very knowledge of God. (Prov. 2:5)

But if you stumble would make you suspect as looking for an excuse, consciously or unconsciously, to know longer want serve God. Simple.

But your view of the reaction to death, is it not clear?
God created humans, not with death as the natural outcome, but with the prospect of living.

modeller do try to learn someing, see if you see what death is (Revelation 20:12-14)

You see virtually everyone considers death to be an unpleasant subject. Most people especially seem to avoid discussing their own death or even thinking about it.

Then on the other hand, they are bombarded by television and movie scenes of people dying in every imaginable way.

By stories or images of real deaths featured by the media. so are you in a dream world.
@goodlife - so, rather than answering modellers question, you avoid it and choose to lecture and patronise them instead? Great advert for religion you are...

I do try and read your posts, but my eyes start to glaze over at the first bracketed proverbs reference.

And I do try and understand your points, but honestly, you need to be clearer.

What point were you trying to make when you posted this?
"You see virtually everyone considers death to be an unpleasant subject. Most people especially seem to avoid discussing their own death or even thinking about it.

What does the above actually mean?
GL -//Do you want to hear the truth//

Truth = "that which is true or in accordance with fact or reality"

Your truth is neither fact nor reality. Bible verses are words written on paper by human beings who didn't have a clue what the truth was.
Things haven't changed at all for more than 2000 years for people like you have they?
