For myself, I'm concerned about the end of the world only in the sense that I'd kind of prefer it if the end of the world came after I'd got done the various things I wanted to do. For others, aren't they concerned because of what might come "after"? The end of this world, we are told, is the beginning of a new and greater one, but not everyone gets to join. I think some people are worried about losing that particular lottery.
