God’s moral laws are eternal and unchangeable. For this reason the principle found at Galatians 6:7 applies today. True, an individual may deny accountability to God, but the divine rule remains constant. Ultimately, no human is exempt from the consequences of his actions.
Of course, if people choose to ignore their conscience or foolishly disregard physical laws, they cannot escape bringing trouble upon themselves and likely also upon others.
The unchangeable law of God may go into effect against them: ” Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. (Gal. 6:7) Since they have turned their backs on the Most High, the only One who could help them, when the full impact of the disaster comes crashing down on them. They are left completely helpless, without hope and comfort.
