Today, terrorism has put the whole world on alert. In any case, you will likely agree with what the apostle Paul wrote long ago: “The scene of this world is changing.”—1 Corinthians 7:31.

Terrorism—Why?

The mindless are reduced to following the example of their imaginary friend.
Terrorism why? because the world allows it to continue!

I am not sure if it is true, but the JW callers have appeared to become more civilised in the last couple of decades, usually leaving after an affirmative NO before they start to spout their cold calling repertoire. It makes me happy because I don't like being rude to people or even hurt their foot, just to leave me alone.

You have given us some good laughs over the years. Keep up the good work and give even uneducated people like me the opportunity to voice my amazement at the trouble some will go to, just to instill their belief on others.

Naomi//I would have thought good behaviour is to be expected in any civilised society. Most people behave reasonably. Why reward it?//

I think you live in a dream world. Yes good behaviour is to be expected, but is it? We see so much violence across the whole spectrum of society. From 8 year olds who now murder to the suicide bomber. Even politeness is disappearing, fewer and fewer people consider good manners to be part of life.
As for rewarding those who appreciate and conduct themselves in a way that is outstanding, why not?
We even reward animals when they do good!!

Anyway, you and the rest of this team don't really want to know so this thread is now closed, on my part at least.
Goodlife, I live in a dream world? You’re the one with the imaginary friend! It’s true, some people aren’t very nice, but that’s human nature – the nature presumably created by your God. Still, radical Islam aside, which does what it does on the command of its God – you know, the one you call Jehovah - at least we’ve moved on from hanging witches, burning heretics, and condemning people for eternity for simply holding a different opinion to ours – well most of us have anyway.
