Why Is Islam

in the news every single day?
All other religions are sometimes mentioned for there nefarious activities.
JW's when a baby dies for want of a blood transfusion,
Catholic priests when they abuse kiddies,
Scientologists occasionally when they make some ridiculous announcment, etc,
the list goes on. But I cant watch the news anyday without Islam been mentioned in one news report or other.

no I agree with OL, the muslims are being demonised - before being stigmatised, identified ( easy - dark skin and moustaches - I dont know what the men look like ter-daaah ! ) and deported

JWs refuse treatment for their own family but are over-ruled by courts in civilised countries.Catholic priests have abused Catholic children in their care and the civilised world has condemned them and the RC church via the Pope has apologised for it.
In all of history we can find instances of barbaric practices in the past - ask any suspected witch in 17c UK or New England! (If you believe in Spiritualism that is). Can't think of any religion that has not progressed in the past few centuries - apart from ?????, the one that still thinks beheading is a suitable punishment in non-capital cases and that seven virgins are awaiting them - how sad is that?

keyplus and goodlife, the two main contributors on their respective religions on this site, epitomise what is wrong with all religions. They think they have a superior knowledge and arrogantly tell us they know the truth when in reality they don't. Their premise seems to be based on "if I think it's true it must be, proof? who needs it".

Vulcan - Im my experience of 9 years on this website I believe it is Atheists who believe that they know about everything.

In my experience atheist try to give the impression that you are clever or have a brain only if you are an atheist. Shame really.
