The mythical "god" creation is just man putting some "religious rules" in place in the name of their so called god.
Of course many times these "rules" are just plain stupid, but then they are created by man, but sadly then seem to be "set in stone".
And of course when the people from one religion do something another religion does not like we get murder, war, torture and so on.
And of course under the "cloak" of religion priests can molest children, and then get protected by their bosses.
The "joys" or religion.
Religion is just one big scam, in fact the biggest scam in the world (there is not a single proof of any of fit) but people still follow it for some reason.

God allows divorce when attention is diverted elsewhere by matters earthly on this wee ball of rock that, for all that exists in the rest of the universe, occupies every thought word and deed of the deity to the exclusion of everywhere else.
Yup, THAT'S how completely ridiculous, assinine and childish the whole belief system is.
I've had a few beers.

Nor would I expect him to.
Seriously the days of being ostracised at Church by either the Priest or congregation is more or less gone (can't count for the few very old school) equally at one time you weren't supposed to take Communion if you were divorced either.
Things do move on and there's always the Confessional. ;-)

As I read it God didn’t allow divorce ……
//Let marriage be held in honour among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous. Hebrews 13:4 //
….but his premier spokesmen, Moses and Jesus, did – for infidelity.
ag, I wasn’t joking about God’s wife. Well, ok, I don’t really think God has a kitchen sink, but she was relegated to the realms of obscurity.
