Christian Retreat?

Have all the Christians retreated from here in the face of atheistic attacks?
After a long absence I was astonished to see only three threads on here.
Maybe God has cursed this category.

So as I was saying, erm, what was I saying?
Oh yes. Everything has a beginning.
So the cause of this must be eternal, no beginning and no end.
Science cannot answer this, and never will do.

At the threshold between ignorance and knowledge lie ones own preferred delusions.

Theland // Everything has a beginning. //
In assuming this you are stuck in the notion of absolute time. Einstein's Relativity showed this is not the case over a century ago, ever within our Universe.
//So the cause of this must be eternal, no beginning and no end. //
Quantum Mechanics showed that the Universe is not based on cause and effect. Moreover you say that all things have a beginning and an end then contradic yourself by claiming the existence of something eternal.
//Science cannot answer this, and never will do.//
Science already has.

Whether you and people profess to believe that the Devil exists or not, they do what he wants. They obey him, so he is their ruler, he influences humans to be as selfish, greedy, they are shortsighted as you are. Would that not help to explain why man so badly mismanages his own environment on the earth. (Revelation 12:9)
Well you all appeared suddenly to chant for the crushing of the Bible.
So that's a start eh?
No. Science has not answered the questions of origin but is damn good at speculation. Eg Dawkins ridiculous multiverse theory, and Hawkings daft assumption in the pre existence of gravity.
They do not convince me at all.

I see science has helped sufferers to enjoy a better quality of life. Outstanding are surgical procedures that eliminate the use of blood transfusions, which are risky. Science and technology have given mankind the power to do things that stagger the imagination. What was once science fiction is now everyday reality. Yet, not all science is altruistic, driven by humanity’s desperate needs.
If now look in the other direction—within ourselves—the recent mapping of the human genetic code raises the questions: How were the multitudes of life-forms created? And who, if anyone, created them? The sheer complexity of our genetic blueprint moved some to say that “we are learning the language in which God created life. One of the chief scientists involved in the genetic decoding humbly remarked: “We have caught the first glimpse of our own instruction book, previously known only to God.” But the questions persist—how and why?
But the Scientists’ theories often seem to rely on premises that require their own kind of faith. For example, when it comes to the origin of life, most evolutionists adhere to ideas that require faith in certain “doctrines.” Facts are mixed with theories. And when scientists use the weight of their authority to impose blind belief in evolution, they are in reality implying: ‘You are not responsible for your morality because you are merely the product of biology, chemistry, and physics.’ Biologist Richard Dawkins says that in the universe ‘there is no design, no purpose, no evil and no good, nothing but pointless indifference.
