You don’t have to be a religious believer to think that we’re headed for disaster.

Awwww, you know what I mean...
I think all the trash talk about JWs is uncalled for.

I get a bit of recycling from them every now and then. They very kindly will even post recycling through the letterbox if I'm 'not home'.

To be fare to them they all seem like jolly nice people and always very pleasant and happy when they come round. I smile sweetly chat for a while and they then go off on their way.

I treat them in the same way I do anyone who has any particular religious faith.

They've all got to be as mad a box of frogs but it keeps them happy so go for your life I say.

First to learn to think clearly demands, first of all, that one have a purpose in life. (Eccl. 12:13)

None of us know how long we have left in this life, I don't intend to waste it living in fear.
My dear goodlife. Why do you keep spouting quotes from a fable book that you call the bible. Can you not think for yourself? You certainly had a strict education in the art of spreading the watchtower word by being absolutely blinded by biblical quotes and the inability to give common answers to those who question your religion.

First to learn to think clearly demands, first of all, that one has an unadulterated free thinking brain. (Wildwood 44:17)

I can appreciate that, a few years ago I felt the same way. But I read something in the Bible that helped me to view matters in a different light.

I truly wish the believers would keep the word to themselves instead of plastering it on the internet and pestering people door to door.
goodlife - //I can appreciate that, a few years ago I felt the same way. But I read something in the Bible that helped me to view matters in a different light. //

Absolutely fair enough - I am right behind anyone finding anything that improves their life for them.

What I can never get past with Christians in general, and you in particular, is this notion that because religion comforts you and gives you purpose, that anyone who doesn't share your view needs to be pitied and lectured in equal measure.
