If the world's economies were fair, no third-world families would live in mud huts, without sanitation, schooling, or hopes for the future. But then, if the system were fair, you and I wouldn't have a house or a car. I imagine if everyone had a fair share, we'd all be living in small flats and travelling around by bicycle, and we'd all have barely sufficient food.

Those who pin their hope on the promises of men from an organisation who claim to speak for some imagined deity cannot with assurance say, “we were saved in this hope." For their lofty promises for a safe world of tomorrow have failed miserably. As will their promise of everlasting joy in some heaven.
