The Bible Proved Right Again? Yes!

If we follow the evidence, as I have done for many years, then we can suffer a blow out like Richard Dawkins, who ignores the evidence in favour of his own misguided atheistic zeal, or honestly and rationally come to the conclusion that God exists.

So what is the blow you suffered. I am guided by science and I believe in God. There is no reason on earth that one can be factual and spiritual as long as there is evidence. Do I believe the earth was created in 6 days, hell no! Does that belie my religious beliefs, not a chance. The old testament is full of myths taken from other religions and everyone should be educated enough to realize this. If you cannot accept scientific fact as to the age of the earth than this whole bible proved right again scenario is a joke. Those who spout literally the bible are the ones with the closed minds. God doesn't expect us to take the word literally, he expects us to THINK, and then put forth the actual interpretations of the word. He is giving us the benefit of the doubt that we can figure out the obvious. Let's keep things simple here my friends. Use the mind he gave you to figure out the obvious.
Richard Dawkins: "The evidence is there for all to see!"
Sceptical Theist: "Where?"
Richard Dawkins: "Have a look at Figures 3a, 3b and Table 4 in this paper, as well as these highly-cited and peer-reviewed journals from 1989, 1991, 1992, June and December 95, 2001, three in 2002, a review article in 2003..."

A little light reading regarding biblical 'prophecies'
https:/ /ration alwiki. org/wik i/Bibli cal_pro phecies .
I was an evangelical Christian in my teenage years (hence the reason why I read the bible from cover to cover. I was a voracious reader and read everything I could get my hands on Re: the bible, Christian apologetics, church history, prophecy etc. When the logical side of my brain kicked in and I started to question my church leaders they actually asked me to leave because I wasn't displaying 'faith'. Thank God (pun intended) that I didn't spend the rest of my life in this barmy, backward and retarded religion.

//The main 'Prophecy fulfilled' upon which he relies is the foundation of the State of Israel.......//
The prophecy is ‘fulfilled’ not because of some supernatural ‘magic’ but because the Jews never lost sight of it, keeping it alive across the centuries. Israel exists only because the powers that were at the time conceded to its foundation, not because of anything ‘God’ did.
