Slightly odd question, I know.
But does anyone here know of anyone (or perhaps yourself) that has ever been involved in the occult?
Ive got a reason for asking but wont be able to divulge on here. What were their, or your, experiences?...or any thoughts, ideas etc.
Thanks.

Depends on what you include as occult.
Been to some convincing seances. Conversed with some impressive mediums.
All food for thought.
The closest I've come is in sending away my regular bowel cancer screening sample.
No evidence of occult blood as yet.
Yes. My sister in law and her partner.
She is a good example as to why it is so destructive.
Errm, missed this. Depends on what you call the 'occult'. When I was younger, strange things happened in the house (egg-cup flying in a lovely arc from the back of a high cupboard to the floor). Bits and pieces really. A rocking-chair rocking at the back of the room when everyone was seated by the fire. That sort of stuff. Also some (proved to be true) flashes of insight. Lots of little bits and pieces.

Thanks Jourdain.
Maybe the word 'occult' puts people of (simply means hidden).
Please expand on the 'little bits and pieces' if you feel free to.
A hint at what you're talking about would help.

Naomi. I know of someone who has got involved in some kind of ritual magic(k) group. He appears to have 'lost it' a bit. But there again, no more than someone who has joined a fundamentalist religious group loosing it a bit either.

Witchcraft?

Naomi, presumably you mean wicca? (though witchcraft covers a wide area)
Not so sure. Its an aquantance of mine ...friend of a friend kinda thing. Some kind of group that hes joined but a bit secretive about it. To be honest, I find it all a bit banal, looked into all this kind of stuff years ago and found nothing but theres a bit of a change in this blokes demeanour. Something that I cant put my finger on...
It's not the most socially acceptable of hobbies so he's probably wise to be a bit secretive about it. Wonder what sort of group it is?
Question Author
Certainly not an evangelical group, or he wouldn't wait to try to convert everyone, lol.
I do know that its some kind of 'magick' group though.
Will have to try to elicite some more info...
I've had lots of things happen as I'm sure I've posted on here before.
A large piece of pot pourri flying from on end of the room, to pass between OH andme.
A red bow with sequins on the stairs when we came back from shopping, never seen it before.
Being slapped very hard on backside when no one there.
There is more but that's enough.
Do try to find out more, but in the meantime….

A friend’s husband became interested in the ‘dark arts’. She would look out into the garden at night and see him standing talking to no one. He also started making what she thought were potions, storing the bottles under the kitchen sink. She knew she dare not throw the potions away but so afraid was she that one day when he was out she decided to ruin his concoctions, thereby, to her mind, rendering them ineffectual. How did she do it. She wee’d in them! I couldn’t stop laughing when she told me and still laugh every time I think of it! And on that note, I shall go to bed. :o)

All my pension keeps disappearing.
Just this week the electrics blew and I am waiting for a water engineer to call tomorrow to deal with a sudden drop in pressure. My wife's purse keeps disappearing. Looked for it everywhere. Two of our cats have a cough. I think my sister in law has been hubbling and bubbling
