I live next to a church which owns my grade two listed house with single glazing, is cold and very damp. Trying to get out. Would it be a good idea to appeal to the Christian nature of the bishop of the diocese that runs this outfit, and beg him to fit double glazing, even if he gets crucified for giving the go ahead?

That’s a bit draconian for the 21st century, innit?
Stop fussing, Theland and invest in some clingfilm...x

Church of England. Who knows what they do?
As it is a listed building fitting new windows for double glazing is probably not allowed. Internal double glazing that can not be seen from the outside may be allowed . You need to look at the terms of the buildings listing. Some listings do not allow even internal double glazing.
Why are you calling him unchristian?
There’s such a thing as secondary glazing which some authorities accept on listed buildings. This company are especially good:

Sadly I can't find any scriptural support for double glazing.....
What a friend you have in Jesus, take it to the Lord in prayer.
