Regarding previous posts, " kinds," equals, "phyla."
Hope this helps.

no - phyla may well mean "tribes" in the OT
but in biology is a term in classification ( zoological taxonomy ) and dates really in this from 1755 ( linnaeus and all that )

I thought kinds might be genera but THAT also has a specific scientific meaning from Linnaeus again

Using words with a modern meaning in the old context is like saying
" Jesus when he tied his ass to tree and went into Jerusalem phoned ahead on his mobie and ordered a burger at the al-quds macdonalds because he wasnt sure what he was going to eat that night if anything"
( and we kinda know he didnt)
Thanks for that Theland, its a one and a half hour vid so will try to watch it when I get a little 'down' time. Always like to try and see both sides of the coin. As I said on my thread in science, Ive always had my problems with evolution (one species turning into another) but even if evolution doesn't convince me of mankind's origin, the Bible doesn't either. (I simply cannot believe in a dirt man and a rib woman living in an enchanted garden with magical 'knowledge' trees and talking snakes and sinful apples)
Thanks for the vid anyway :-)
And yes, I know that Genesis doesn't mention apples....

Peter P - I have always tried to keep an open mind. Yes it is true that you can ride a coach and horses through the evidence for my beliefs, if you don't look below the surface and delve into the nitty gritty of not only the science, but the philosophical foundations of our various viewpoints.
Your comments which verge on the edge of ridicule and mockery, whilst most welcome for the contribution, and something else for me to consider, are devoid of any plausible explanation to support evolution, and counter the arguments put forward by Stephen Meyer.
But thank you anyway.

Nailit - If we keep posting dedicated threads to each other it won't be long before some wag says, " Get a room!"
Better pack your PJ's.
I don't wear PJ's. Is that ok with you ;-)?
In fact I hardly wear anything at all when at home, I hate clothing. In fact Im typing this starkers having just got out of the bath.
Like to feel as nature intended when I can.....
Too much information nailit mate ,it might do Sqad some good, but I have just had my tea,and the thought of you with your bits daggling and wafting about no no thanks, I will go and have a Raki ,a double, cheers
That’s good feel better now waft away nailit, let it all hang out.
Jordy, I have no problem with my own 'bits' flying about the place. Others may have but that's their concern, not mine. ;-)
If I want to 'waft' in my own home I shall do so...
Is there something wrong with been naked in ones own home?
Just a thought!
I like been as nature intended......

To be serious once again.
Just ONE issue.
The origin of information.
DNA coded A, C, T, and G, is far advanced of the binary code that is used in our computers.
Binary has simply "plus," or "minus" or 1 or 2.
Biology is so far advanced beyond that.
I can't explain it all I'm a paragraph or two, but it is a field well worth examination.
I have spent time investigating this, and it really does underpin my beliefs and expose atheism as, " The Emperors New Clothes,"

Just so you know, those two occurrences of "been" in your post quoted above should be "being". So your post should be:

Is there something wrong with being naked in ones own home?
Just a thought!
I like being as nature intended......
//I can't explain it all I'm a paragraph or two//

Theland
That's a very good description of you:- "A paragraph or two"
Vascop,
I always confuse 'been' and 'being' just as I always confuse 'quiet' with 'quite'...
Never personally let it bother me though!
Why not? Isn't it important to at least try and write correctly? I know we all make mistakes, but I think we should be bothered about it.

By the way there is another error - it should be "one's" with an apostrophe.

17:04, ^^^ what the heck does 'daggling' mean?
Don't go there Baldric, just don't go there...

Vascop, who gives a hoot as to how things are spelt on a social media website? (Apart from the spelling/grammar police)?
It is when you go out on raiding party's with a Fairbairns Sykes and try to find a cartoid artery. Lol
