Theland, it is fairly obvious that you are not an avid reader of the Bible, or if you are you do not understand it, before you post why not do some research on what you wish to post about, it may make you more credible.

Theland, your error is in consistently failing to examine the bible objectively. Your favourite 'prophecy' came thousands of years ago from exiled Jews who harboured the hope of returning to Jerusalem rather sooner than the 20th century. Politics eventually restored the Jews to Israel, not God, and that was because, for centuries, the Jews clung determinedly to an ambition – never allowing anyone else to forget it either. That’s rational objectivity, Theland. Try it.

You consistently fail to understand the Bible.
The Bible interprets itself.
Metaphors abound, and understanding for example, parts of Revelation, requires reference to other books, like Daniel.
It is not a novel, to be read cover to cover in one direction, but this fact has so far eluded you, and left you comfortably pedantic in your assertions that you know more than those you patronisingly criticise.
Your undoubted knowledge is wasted, unless and until you make the final step to true enlightenment.
All you need to know is quite literally hidden in plain sight. You just need the key to unlock it.
The Holy Spirit is the key.

You bang on and on about how factual the bible is and the moment you’re presented with facts you were unaware of, you revert into the guise of the pious evangelical preacher full of unsubstantiated gobblegook and claim ‘metaphor’ – as though you somehow think that will impress. Biblical metaphors can be made to fit anything desired by someone convinced that Biblical prophecies are the truth.

In fact there are many so called prophecies in the Bible that have never and can never be true, even metaphorically.

Also look at how the gospels manipulate the details of Jesus's birth to make it fit with what the old testament prophets said.
