Bible Prophecy Again.

Even atheists will be aware of the Bible prophecies predicting a one world government, a one world religion, a one world economic system.
Well the fact that the Bible makes these claims from millennia ago, is tru in itself. But are the claims themselves true?
Agenda 21 is an important clue to what is happening.
Our own politicians are part of this too. We were ignored over Maastricht, and then Lisbon, and big money is driving our Remain campaign, Soros, Bliar, to name just two.
Scoff at the Bible, but you must admit there is food for thought.
For those who don't like videos, don't watch it, and do your own research to test this out.

Nailit - I hear the sound of cold steel on a grindstone, as you prepare to respond to whatever my next response will be.
But hey! Tis the season when we all say tis and twas and no no blood must be spilled during this season of goodwill to all men, including Theland. It's in the Bible!

I don't doubt that Old Nostradamus, (Nozzy to his friends,) had some successes with his prophecies, and some near misses, Hister for Hitler for example.
But that does not negate the Bible prophecies does it?
Maybe a few publications are also on target now and again. The Littlewoods catalogue, Horse and Hounds, and the works of Charles Dickens.

Despite some ill health Theland, theres certainly nothing wrong with your hearing ;-)
Now, if you can give us specific Bible prophecies (chapter and verse would be useful) regarding a one world government, one world religion, one world economic system etc then perhaps we could have a sensible and rational exchange of ideas.
On the other hand, if we get told...again...to research it ourselves then there is no point in trying to continue what is (for you) an important topic.

Naomi The prophecies predict the rise of a strong leader, to whom the whole world will look.
He will contrive a peace pact in the Middle East and for some reason, a promise that it will be a seven year pact. But after three and a half years, he will break the pact and Israel will be attacked in an effort to destroy it and the Jews. That will be the final battle, when God will save Israel from her enemies.

Nailit, you tell me you have read the bible cover to cover, and bible commentaries etc. Yet you ask me to give you chapter and verse?
If you are genuinely searching, search the Prophets. Start with Daniel. And break off to read Revelation again.
You may not like YouTube but there are excellent instructive videos there, ( and some poor ones).
Israel is Gods prophetic timepiece. What is happening in Israel tells us where we are on Gods timeline.
Go on YouTube and type in Israel in Prophecy.
So much information, I could not possibly type it all here. That would be a full time job.

Theland, // The prophecies predict the rise of a strong leader, to whom the whole world will look. //
But that doesn't equate to a one world government, a one world religion, and a one world economic system, as you claim in your OP. The bible can't predict both that and your claim at 06:15. Well it can, but one of those predictions has to be wrong so which is it?

//Nailit, you tell me you have read the bible cover to cover, and bible commentaries etc. Yet you ask me to give you chapter and verse?//
Yes please. I want to see exactly what prophicies that you refer to, specifically for this alledged one world government, religion and economic system.
//If you are genuinely searching//
Thats condescending. I already have genuinley searched.
//search the Prophets//
I have.
//Start with Daniel. And break off to read Revelation again//
Ive read them dozens of times. What would it ''prophet'' me to read them again?
They are so full of symbolism that there are literally hundreds of interpretations. You'd think that God would be a bit more clear in his predictions?
//You may not like YouTube/
I love you tube.
//but there are excellent instructive videos there//
Indeed there are, try viewing a few rationalist one, very instructive.
//Israel is Gods prophetic timepiece//
Havnt read that anywhere in the Bible.
//Go on YouTube and type in Israel in Prophecy//
Go on you tube and type in (anything you want) prophecy and you will get thousands of vids.
Dont mean to be abrupt or anything with this reply Theland (its hard to express a 'tone' in a text) but if we had a specific chapter and verse to work with...rather than a request telling us to read Daniel and Revelation...then we might be able to have a debate or at least an exchange of ideas.

//The Bible does not use the phrase “one-world government” or “one-world currency” in referring to the end times.//
But what about Revelation, though, Naomi? Here's chapter 13:
"1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority...
7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world....
14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast...
15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six."
Couldn't be plainer than that, could it, Theland?

//Start with Daniel//
Have to agree with that. Spot on with the early Ptolemies and Seleucids. ("When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place...")
If you didn't know better you might ahve thought that Daniel was written in the Maccabean period.

after the 1000 years are up, times will be tough for a while. Gog and Magog will be on the move, stirring up people who still haven't got the message..
And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, and shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
- Revelation 20:7-10
Then there will be a final resurrection, in which even sinners who didn't make it through the first time round will have a chance to repent and go to Heaven. This is their last chance, though.
Hope to see you there.

Nailit - Of course it's symbolic!
If you are not searching for anything, because you are already all clued up, why do you put so much energy into this category?
It would be like me arguing on the Gardening section about the merits of different composts!
Not interested, so don't!
So what is your point? What are you searching for if you have already found the answer?

Nailit - (and anybody else,) please recognise that I have studied this for many years.
Add to that, that I may not be the sharpest tool in the toolbox, but I am far from stupid, and not easily taken in in by sensationalism or hysteria.
I study the Bible, and study history and contemporary events.
The picture is clear to me.
Tonight's BBC news confirms this.
I have no energy to argue.
What do you gain from trying to shoot me down in flames?
Can you refute the contemporary evidence?
Do you make the silly mistake of taking metaphor as literalism?
Peace!
