What is the point?

It's general Q&A site not a Bible study site and therefore any question about the finer points of a religious beliefs is going to get responses from people that think the question itself is invalid and will sometimes tell the poster why they think so. The point of doing this is to either try to educate or belittle the poster, show off knowledge, make others laugh, bond with other atheists or simply use it as a fun logic exercise puzzle to give the answer to.
