We know Gay people exist and don't know that god exists

Yet gays rights are denied on the off chance it might upset god.. Who we doesn't know exist?

I'm not saying gay people have special rights.. i'm saying they don't have the rights in a lot of places that normal people do, mainly due to religious conditioning.

If you had studied statistics you would know that "normal" is a distribution not a case.

Same sex attracted people are in that distribution.

You are right in what you say, when we are young we are taught that there is a God in Heaven and a Devil in Hell. Of course since we have explored space we know there is no such place as Heaven or Hell. Heaven and Hell is what we make of our own lives. I can't explain why children are still being taught fairy stories about religion(Which has caused wars ever since it's origins) Gay people I know are spotless and caring people, they should be treated with respect and not regarded as many "Bible" punches would have as outcasts.

It is expected man will lay with a woman so they can reproduce. You understand if they didn't that man and man can't have a baby so the whole of our race would be wiped out? So it's actually normal for us to reproduce with women.

Yes, a normal thing for gay people is to get with members of their own sex. Well done.

Normal for humans is man to reproduce and be with woman... like 99% of other animals in the world that we know of.

Gays have been persecuted for their sexuality for decades. Straight folk haven't. There's your difference. There are countries where homosexuality is illegal and carries a death sentence (Middle east/some African countries). The are others where it is not illegal, but catties a stigma that cab see you beaten and sometimes murdered for it (I'm looking at you Russia). That's the lack of rights Spath was talking of.

TheChurch: "Homosexuality is a sin and you will burn in Hell."

Also the Church: "Don't worry Father, we'll make those allegations about the choirboys go away."
