I don't know how these services go, but I would have thought it possible that a preacher doesn't go shaking hands when he has a really big congregation. The woshippers are more likely to have infected one another, a risk they will also have chosen to take.

I listened to an American evangelical Christian on her way to church being asked why she was taking the chance of meeting with the rest of the congregation.
