Hello back. I consider myself agnostic, but I agree that the statement means nothing to me. I just fail to understand why the phrase should be considered scary for nonbelievers. Surely you understand that it would mean nothing to atheists?
And if I did misconstrue your post, I apologise, but I'm sure you can understand, given your track record on Islam, why I (and others) might have taking it that way.

I am off to bed. It's pointless trying to get any sense from Theland He hasn't told us yet what is scary about the words GOD IS GOOD. I can't see as he says that it's a 'wake-up' call for believers. A wake up call for believers Might be 'GOD IS EVIL' for His/Her/Its lack of kindness, but causing continued suffering in the world.
Good Night All. (Hope those three words don't frighten anyone.)

//Yes, I realise it means nothing to unbelievers. I wish it did.//
Then why make such an absurd statement in the first place, if you know it to not be true?
//Islam? I have Muslim neighbours and friends.
They are integrated and harmless.
But like the majority of Muslims, they are apostate to their own religion, which is an extremist violent doctrine. Beware!//
All religions, including yours, have extremist elements, which is part of the reason I follow none of them.

Ummmm - Not at all. I am immensely blessed, especially compared to some fellow ABers who have known far worse suffering and loss than I could ever imagine, and still they soldier on with their lives, looking after their loved ones, friends and neighbours, and hardly ever mention their own misfortune.
I salute them all, and they still make time to come on here and make valuable contributions, even if we don't always see eye to eye.
They, all of them, are a blessing to me.

Theland, //Therefore, how will a good God deal with us?//
You told us last week.
//If you were to die right now, you would immediately find yourself standing naked before God who would judge you. You would either go straight to eternal life, or to eternal separation from God.//
Since you already know why are you asking?
Incidentally, I’m still awaiting chapter and verse on that. This is the third time I’ve asked you.

[email protected] ^^ I agree with you, despite Thelands reply making out otherwise.
It doesn't take two minutes to read what he said to Waterboatman this morning on the GMEB thread. It's his mental condition he needs to be concerned about, so I hope he's Not now in contact with a false prophet for medicaL help.
