The Psalms say the years of our life are 70, or even by reason of strength 80, but of course they did not take the state of medical knowledge into accoutn. None the less, I don't think God made any promise that Greek princes would never die.
goodlife - // I say if you can see the way world is you never will. Sad indeed. //
You never will what?
As for your 'Sad indeed' observation, you take the standard view of the fervent - everyone else is miserable because they don;t see the world the way you do.
They are not, but don't let that stop you running your endless superiority complex pity party.

I think so. At the beginning of the Covid virus people were showing compassion to each other, helping one another. But now I see that has all gone.
All I see is riots, racism and sarcasm.
I read in 2 Timothy 3 v 1 - 5 about the last days and it lists attitudes that people would have. Alright we do not know when these last days will end, but to me, reading those verses is like reading the newspaper and describes people the whole world over.

"but Jehovah, I didn't know about your requriements for survival.
And Jehovah will answer:
I sent my servants to knock on your door, but you would not open.
I had my servants call you by phone, but you would hang up.
I had my servants write you letter, but you threw them away.
I sent my servants to stand on the streets. but you walked by.
I had them build a website with instructions in 900 languages.
but you refused to click
I sent out missionaries, pioneers, and publishers.
Faf and wide.
To the top of the mountains and over the seas, and now you say I did't know.
No, you did not listen.

goodlife, it's all a rather tired arguement, bleating raving.. are you feeling confused, your arguments hold no water under scrutiny, but you probably thirst for ridicule to cement your fervent religious beliefs ever thought you maybe wrong, ever pondered it after all we have free will.. are you afraid you will not get risen when armageddon is supposed to happen, it's not going to happen as according a god of love would want to decimate the earth and all it's beauties.
Yes, even in Bible times some people were selfish and godless. (Romans 1:18, 29-31; Titus 1:12) However, the Bible foretold that during the last days, “wicked men and impostors would advance from bad to worse.” (2 Timothy 3:13) And just as the Bible predicted, people now display bad traits with a greater scope and intensity than ever before.
And yet the Bible tells us to be happy, why?.
