The bible explains Gods dealings with the Jews from their father Abraham right up to the present day.
Whether they like it or not that are Gods witness to the world.
Searching the scriptures reveals the truth or falsity of the prophecies concerning the Jews.
This is something lost on the mainstream churches.
If you doubt this will you check the evidence for yourself?

Theland, you were asked:
\\ Is there any prophecy relating to the Holocaust and the murder of six million Jews?//
You answered:
\\Specifically no but Ezekiel 37 describes the valley of dry bones coming to life. And they did didn't they?//
That is a despicable answer.

The word Jesus used was Gehenna. Destruction.
It goes over his head, Vulcan.

Theland, Ezekiel, along with the rest of the Israelites, was in exile. It was return from that exile he had hopes of - not something in the distant future.

Just a question. At the time of the holocaust why didn't the Jews accept that prophecy was being fulfilled?
"The word Jesus used was Gehenna. Destruction." Do you have references to that in the NT?
Question Author
Gehenna often translated as hell.
Jesus uses it eleven times.

Question Author
Ezekiel wrote what he was given by God.
The Jews during the Holocaust may well have believed it was their destiny in prophecy.
Don't be ridiculous, Theland. You're making it up.
Question Author
No I'm not making up anything.
The bible warned the Jews they would be exiled, scattered and persecuted.
The bible does not go into the actual details of their punishment, the Holocaust, the pogroms in Russia, the massacres in various countries including England, Spain, Portugal, to name just a few.
Theland, you are making it up. The Jews didn’t believe the holocaust was their destiny. The bible makes no mention whatsoever of the holocaust.
Were the six million or more murders not worthy of a specific mention anywhere in the Bible?

God was content to allow so many of his Chosen People to suffer inhuman treatment and then be gassed?

What exactly had those Jews done to deserve that fate?
Question Author
I don't make anything up.
That would make me a liar, which I am not.
You're kidding yourself.
Question Author
Smearing my character in respect of honesty and integrity is disgraceful, even for you.
I shall ignore you completely from now on.
I hope other ABers see my point and support me.
Theland - // I hope other ABers see my point and support me. //

I might have, but since you already ignore me, I am not minded to offer you support, when you again wilfully misunderstand the point naomi is making to you, because, as usual, it suits you to do so.

Making things up, which naomi is accusing you of, does not make you a liar.

A liar is someone who wilfully and intentionally tells an untruth, and that is not what you are doing, which is why naomi is not calling you a liar.

She is saying that what you are saying is not true, even if you believe it to be so, but again that does not mean she is calling you a liar.

If I look out of my window, as far as i can see is basically flat terrain - therefore it is reasonable of me to assume that the entire world is flat.

It I said that, and you told me that it was not true, you would not be calling me a liar - just because I believe something to be true, does not make it true.

And that is the entire thrust of every single long and tedious and ultimately pointless argument you have ever had with anyone on this site, over your long and freequent history of posting on it.

You believe something, and believing it is true makes you happy.

But that does not make it true - if it cannot be proved, and round and round and round we go again.

Ignore naomi by all means, as the constant voice of reason with patience beyond all understanding as far as I can see - because she constantly demolishes your fantasies with reasoned argument.

But don't say you are ignoring her for 'smearing your character and intelligence' - evidence shows she has done neither.
// - because she constantly demolishes your fantasies with reasoned argument.// well no she doesnt actuall:

Naomi: You're kidding yourself. ( from this page I didnt look far)

Oops sozza that is a flat contradiction backed up by a quote.
I mean: hush hush andie there are alternative interpretations of Naomi's one line output, and output that goes nowhere near reasoned argument
Question Author
Andy, for me to suggest Naomi investigates prophecy compared to history, would suggest a bit more depth an detail than, ''I have,'' and closing the matter with an arrogance that is her hallmark.
Theland - // Andy, for me to suggest Naomi investigates prophecy compared to history, would suggest a bit more depth an detail than, ''I have,'' and closing the matter with an arrogance that is her hallmark. //

As usual, on the occasions when you do reply to me, you have completely ignored my last post, and the points I made in it.
//Gehenna often translated as hell.
Jesus uses it eleven times//

Like 'Sheol' translated as hell in Hebrew.
It meant the grave, nothing more.
(Unless you want to believe that the Biblical Patriarchs are also in hell)
Question Author
Andy, I have read your post and not ignored it, but I disagree with it.
