wailing wall isnt intercessionary is it
that is - they arent wailing because the prayers arent working ....I am not sure what you do if the prayers dont work - pray harder I suppose
BUT
Sta Teresa da Avila said ( thpanith of course ) there are more problem from prayers answered, than there are from unanswered prayers.
get off your knees and start doing something yourself I suppose.
and by golly she did: started off with a cart load of nuns and a donkey-teer leading them around the country. The muleteers it is recorded used to stop swearing at the donkeys when it was time for prayers - also demanded that the postulants ( learner drivers) brought in their dowries....

Not a bad marketing stunt actually, and let's be fair 'answered prayers' is pure non-disprovable marketing, just like "1 million satisfied customers". Very little maintenance once installed and it will pull in the crowds - no doubt each QR code people link to will feature a nice easy way to donate with a suitably high 'default' donation like the one on the OP link of £75, and a minimum of £25. The more you pay the harder God listens.
I'm sure the owners are 'praying' for a Banksy to appear on there too.

Prayer gives comfort and that’s no bad thing. As for the wall, it’s a positive symbol, the design of which I find quite pleasing. I’ve no objection to it and will certainly go to see it at some time. As for the notion that it should be ‘inclusive’, inclusivity is being forced on people who don’t necessarily want it so, on principle, I’m rather pleased it isn’t.
On the link provided, some of the questions posed here are touched on.
// Is Eternal Wall of Answered Prayer multi-faith?
Eternal Wall of Answered Prayer will be a piece of public art about Jesus. It is open for everybody to visit and enjoy.
The UK is incredibly diverse. We believe a multi-faith society is about having the freedom for each faith to express their beliefs. To that end, Eternal Wall of Answered Prayer will include an exhibition within which there will be the opportunity for other faiths to express their view on prayer.//
// How is spending this much money justified?
Once Eternal Wall of Answered Prayer is operational it will generate significant income to continue to invest into social housing and other charities. For every brick in Eternal Wall, we will be putting another brick into social housing. //
Additional funds will also be donated to charities and good works with a minimum of 10% donated to local projects. In the first 20 years, we expect Eternal Wall to generate over £30M for charities and good works.
