Wicked people exhibit a spirit that seems subhuman, animalistic, even demonic. (Jas. 3:15) Happily, Jehovah’s Word counters such bad news with good news.

Khandro, you never offer an original thought. You depend upon the meanderings of other people - always - and you can’t understand why I am not equally impressed. If you can bring yourself for once to give a straight answer to a straight question what leads you to believe that any of them know more about what is, potentially, the unknown than you …or me … or anyone?

I'm not sure what kind of books those people demanding total originality read, but most of the books I read have indexes at the back, & it often seems that the brighter the author the longer the index of references.
For example, I'm reading at the moment a critique of Walter Benjamin (The Benjamin Files. Verso, 2020) by Fredric Jameson (& there's not many people sharper than Fredric !) Out of interest I just checked & find that though it is less than 250 pages in length, it has an index of 14 pages!
Of course neither he, nor certainly I, are any match for the highly original thinkers of AnswerBank.

Khandro, I can only speak for myself but I read all sorts of books. However, rather than tell you to read them or quote chunks from them, I think about what I've read, formulate my own ideas about it, expand on it and offer the result to the discussion. Can you really not see the difference? Your sarcasm is misplaced because until you do that, you're right. You aren't a match for the 'highly original thinkers' of AnswerBank. You're not an original thinker - highly or otherwise.

But passing off something you think and believe is not offering something you know.
The problem for you is, everyone on here that interacts with you, knows the difference between what you know, a fact, and what you think, a belief.
