Justin Trudeau responds to Trump's tariffs going into effect today.

canada did everything they were asked to do by the USA and the tariffs went into effect today anyway.

whatever his faults are i thought mr trudeau showed leadership in this speech.

Both Canada and Mexico did what he wanted to avoid tariffs, and he was in fact  claiming this as a victory a couple of weeks ago.

This just proves any agreement with Trump is pretty much worthless.

What is to be gained from them is still unclear. The stock market is already slumping at the prospect of a pointless trade war, and prices will be heading up.
