Trump was bragging the other day of all the things he's managed to do so far in his short time in office. Well ending the war in Ukraine is not one of them, in fact he's managed to esculate the war. Another load of folk murdered by Putin last night including a reported 6 children. Along with starting a very damaging trade war this bloke is for sure a complete nutter.

Yeah, he's basically dropping ... on Ukraine from a great height. One hopes Ukraine can find a replacement instead of relying on a, now rapidly trying to become a pariah, state.

Trump assures the world that russia is ready for peace but it's quite clear that by "peace" what he actually means is "victory". he's handing ukraine over to Russia on a silver platter.

Whats also very worrying is I dont see many Americans objecting to Trump turning a blind eye to Putins continued esculation of slaughter.

What has the Russia/Ukraine war got to do with the US?  Surely it's in Ukraine and Russia's best interests to crack on with the negotiations.  I don't see crowds out on the street in the UK demanding we send troops or more aid to Ukraine either.

Are you suggesting there's anything to negotiate? Russia wants to take over Ukraine and make it part of Russia. Ukraine clearly doesn't want to surrender. Maybe negotiate a 50/50 split of Ukraine?  I don't think that would satisfy either country.

Keep up the measures on Russia and their economy comes to such a low point that even Putin and the rest of the Kremlin realise they're obliged to withdraw. Of course, if some idiot nations abandon helping the victim, has a go at them, refuse them intelligence reports, and cosy up to the aggressor instead, that makes things more difficult.

Putin has been banking on cracks appearing in the support for Ukraine, but I doubt he expected one has big as the Grand canyon.
