if i'm understanding correctly and i'm probably not. there are supposedly 14 points that if you can attain an understanding of or (acceptance? not sure which is correct), of these points you are entitled to enter the kingdom of heaven. as these points are apparently recorded as jesus actually spoke them, not as his diciples recorded them later. can anyone enlighten me on this? and even better, give me the 14 points. curious.

This is Gnosticism. The way you understand the texts allows you to ascertain the level of initiation into the Mysteries which were as you said only permitted to be spoken and not written down, these mysteries of the true teachings of Christ, were revealed according to your intelligence of whether or not you interpret literally, morally, spiritually etc, this is how we see John ascend to the third heavens it is not literal it is a nirvana state. You should study some Gnosticism or Paganism and be prepared to truly understand Christianity!!
