Kind of you to ask, Naomi. On another site you asked whether you had offended me, to which the answer is - certainly not. When and how could you have done that? Neither am I going off in a huff like Mani, only to crawl back a few days later.
I just feel that I have contributed all I can. My original aim was to ask fundamental questions of the faithful in the hope of encouraging them into serious debate. As you know, I failed: Theland continued to pick daisies and collect fairy-dust, blandly ignoring the questions and modelling his life on the words of ancient unknown writers, while Mani�s ravings were a mixture of the throughly nasty and the plainly potty.
The only sense, the only sign of an ability to reason, came from the non-believers.
So I�ll resume my normal medium of debate � real letters. I find that only religionists who have something serious to say are prepared to put words onto real paper, in real envelopes with real stamps on. But I�ll keep an affectionate eye on your posts.
See you on other sites, I�m sure. It was nice knowing you � well, some of you. If there were an AB bar I�d buy a round. Cheers.

Hello Chakka, thank you for answering. I'm so sorry you've decided not to contribute to R&S any more, but I understand your reasoning.

I hope you do keep an eye on what's going on here, as you've promised to do, and perhaps occasionally you may even feel moved to add something to the discussion.

No doubt I'll see you in Quizzes and Puzzles - and by the way, do you know of any other similar quizzes to fill in the gap until September? I always miss it once I've finished.

Incidentally, mine's a G&T with a thick slice of lime and some ice - or a nice big glass of Merlot. Cheers.
