...Can anybody put me and my colleagues (including two Muslim women) out of our collective misery? During Ramadan, Muslims are not allowed to eat or drink between sunrise and sunset; fair enough. What we want to know is: How do Muslims do this in Scandinavian countries (say) where it can be daylight 24 hours a day at some times of the year? Do they just go by the clock in Mecca or something?
This has been asked before, I'm afraid I can't find the link but I do recall that the answer is that they take the times of sunrise and sunset at Mecca and use those.
